Session Overview:
This introductory session offers a practical overview of High Performance Computing (HPC) and high-throughput computing (HTC) systems, including how to access Sockeye, UBC’s High-Performance Computing platform, navigate the command-line environment, and manage data storage effectively. Participants will learn about job scheduling, software modules, and best practices for working with shared digital research infrastructure. 

Prerequisite:
Basic knowledge of computer systems and data processing is recommended.
