Dr. Joash Gambarage’s Learn Swahili in a Fun Way: A Linguistic Approach is a heartfelt tribute to Swahili learners, teachers, and the love of learning. This beautifully woven book will captivate students of Swahili of all ages with its timeless lessons, grammar songs, stories, and games.

During this book launch, Dr. Gambarage, who teaches SWAH 101 and SWAH 102 here at UBC, will share the story behind writing this book and why he thinks engaging and fun methods of teaching a second language are key to mastering Swahili grammar. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.
